Customs seize drugs being smuggled to Addu City

Maldives Customs Service has seized 890 grams of drugs being smuggled to Addu City via post.

Customs said that the officers in Gan became suspicious of some parcels and so conducted an inspection with owner present.

The drugs found in the inspection was tested positive for hash oil according to Customs.

While the drugs and their owner has been handed over to the Police, Customs said that an investigation has been launched.
