Two injured in Fuvahmulah traffic collision in transit to Male'

One of the five people injured in the traffic collision in Fuvahmulah City in Gnaviyani Atoll has been brought to Male' City yesterday for further treatment.

Manager of the Gnaviyani Atoll Hospital, Mohamed Faruzad told Sun Media today that another person will be transferred to Male' sometime today.

He said that the two couldn't be sent on the same day because they couldn't get seats on the flights.

Police Media Official said that the traffic collision involving five motorcycles which took place on the tarmac road near Milo Stadium was reported to the police on Tuesday night around 10:10 p.m.

A witness to the incident said that some of the people involved in the collision sustained head injuries and bled on the road. The Gnaviyani Atoll Hospital said that their injuries were not severe.

The extents of the injuries sustained by the two being brought to Male' City are unclear at this time.
