Umar decides to join JP again

Former Home Minister, Umar Naseer has decided to join Jumhooree Party (JP) again.

In a press alert sent by the former Home Minister, he said that he has decided to join JP to provide support as the party prepares for the Presidential Election 2018. Previously announced to run in the Election, Umaru said that he would sign with JP next week.

Umaru has previously worked with JP as well. He joined the party during the 2013 Presidential Election after being forced out of PPM.

He became the Home Minister of the current government on a JP slot as part of the coalition.

The former Home Minister has recently stated that if the opposition coalition is bringing forth one candidate for the election, the best person for it is the JP Leader, Qasim Ibrahim.
