Jamsheed demoted to Superintendent

The former Assistant Commissioner of Police Mohamed Jamsheed has been demoted to the position of Superintendent of Police.

Jamsheed was initially demoted from his position as ACP to Chief Superintendent of Police.

“Sun” has been informed the second demotion to Jamsheed was dealt last week after police finished investigating an additional case against the officer.

The demotion was dealt after police had already made the decision to terminate Jamsheed from his post as Head of Integrated Service Command and transfer him to Addu City as a projects officer.

Jamsheed was appointed Head of Integrated Service Command in 2016.
