Maldives Medical and Health Expo 2017 begins

The sole annual medical exhibition run in the country – Maldives Medical and Health Expo 2017 has begun at the National Art Gallery.

Maldives Medical and Health Expo 2017 was inaugurated by Minister of Health, Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim this Thursday.

Speaking at the inauguration, Minister Nazim said every service was based on mutual trust between the service provider and client. He said the mutual trust, in turn, was based on the information exchanged between the two parties.

Nazim said exhibitions such as the Maldives Medical and Health Expo will facilitate information between service providers and clients, strengthening the trust between the two parties.

“I believe holding such expos more often is very important. The information exchanged between service providers and receivers will result in strengthening of mutual trust, as I mentioned before,” said Nazim.

The minister said exchange of information will further fuel the expansion of the health industry.

Event organizer, MV Medicals reported participants of the expo includes both local and international medical and health service providers. It said the expo was a sound platform to share information on the latest services and products of health and medical companies to other businesses and the general population.

The three-day Maldives Medical and Health Expo 2017 is open to the public, with no entrance fee.
