The dinghy which went missing while traveling from Lhaviyani Hinnavaru to Noonu Milandhoo with three people on board has been found.
The 18 feet dinghy that left for Milandhoo at the early hours of the morning was reported missing to the MNDF Coastguard around 11:17 a.m. today.
Information Officer of MNDF, Captain Ibrahim Azim said that the vessel was drifting in the current about 30 nautical miles east of Milandhoo when it was discovered by a Coastguard Harbor Craft involved in the search operation.
All three people were in good condition when they were found according to Captain Azim.
MNDF said that that vessel was stranded after they lost direction due to bad weather and ran out of fuel according to those on board.
