Car parked near Shaheed Ali Mosque torched

A car parked near the Shaheed Ali Mosque in Lonuziyaaraih Magu, Male’ City was torched at dawn, this Thursday.

No one was harmed in the incident, but the fire caused extensive damage to the front of the car.

The fire also caused damage to the pickup parked in front of the car, says the police.

The police media official said the incident was reported to the authority at 3:55 am. The police said it has not yet verified whether the fire was deliberate or not.

The fire was put out by MNDF Fire and Rescue Service.
