Haleem

The man suspected of having murdered Police Lance Corporal Adam Haleem of Kethi, Kaashidhoo, has been brought to Malé.

Police Lance Corporal Adam Haleem was on his way to report for duty in K. Kaashidhoo when he was stabbed in four places on his body.

Sun Online has received information that the man arrested in relation to this crime is Mohamed Samah, 22, of Suvasa, K. Kaashidhoo.

Minister of Home Affairs Dr Mohamed Jameel Ahmed has assured that the people responsible for the murder of Haleem will be brought to justice.

Kaashidhoo Council has informed that Mohamed Samah has previously been convicted of assault, theft, and drug-related crimes.

Samah was transferred to house arrest following a Court order, on the evening of the day he attacked Haleem.

Haleem, who left behind a wife and a three-month old son, was buried with full honours at Galolhu Cemetery yesterday.
