Contracts awarded for Kaadhidhoo sea wall and Fonadhoo harbor projects

Housing Ministry has signed with Senok Trade Combine Ltd for the Kaafu atoll Kaashidhoo sea wall project and the Laamu atoll Fonadhoo harbor project.

Senok is a company that have goinging harbor projects in the Maldives.

At a special ceremony held at the Housing Ministry today, the two agreements were signed by the Housing Minister, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and the Operations Manager of Senok, Mahesh Thenuwara.

The Ministry said that the project includes a 1,200 meter sea wall and lists will be installed. The MVR 13.35 million project is agreed to be completed in 338 days.

Fonadhoo harbor project includes a 166 meter long harbor along with a concrete ramp. The project also includes the installation of lights at the harbor and 21 meter revetment with the ramp. The project is contracted to be completed in 380 days.

Fonadhoo harbor project is a MVR 15 million project according to the Housing Ministry.
