PPM activities in 25 islands to demonstrate support for President Yameen

Ruling party, PPM, has decided to hold a special campaign in the islands "People with Progress" to demonstrate the support for President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.

At a press conference today at the PPM Office, the Vice President of the party, Abdul Raheem Abdulla said that nation wide program will have activities in 25 islands in total.

Although the program will be held from tomorrow to Sunday, the activities in the atolls will be held on Saturday alone. The activities will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Speaking at the press conference, the Leader of the PPM Parliamentary Group, Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik said that the activities in Malé City will not be held as a political activity, but a children's evening.
