MDP welcomes police progress in Yaamin's murder investigation

Largest opposition party, MDP, has congratulated the police in the success in the investigation into the murder of the blogger, Yaamin Rasheed.

Police revealed information on the suspects involved in the attack yesterday at a press conference at Iskandharu Koshi.

Praising the success of the police, the Vice President of MDP, Mohamed Shifaaz said that the police have the latest technology and work hard in their training.

Shifaaz said that most of the officers in the police have professional integrity and work hard but political figures try to soil the institute.

"They have to bring peace to the streets of Maldives. Focusing on peaceful political activities and political party activities bring a huge loss in this country." Shifaaz said.
