Two individuals have been formally charged for conspiracy to murder High Court judge, Shuja Usman.
The two people are; G. A. Vilingili MP Saud Hussain and former Senior Policy Executive at Ministry of Education, Ibrahim Haneef.
The announcement was made by Prosecutor General Aishath Bisham during a press conference this Tuesday.
Bisham said both Saud and Haneef have been charged conspiracy to commit a terrorist act, and that details of the case would be revealed during trial.
Police have taken a statement from Saud regarding the charges, and Haneef was recently released after weeks in police detention.
