President Yameen meets with heads of police

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom is at a meeting with the heads of the Maldives Police Service.

Sun Media has confirmed that the meeting is taking place at the Police Headquarters, Shaheed Hussain Adam Building. But it is unclear as to the topic of the meeting.

As the President meets with the police, the political activities has put the country in a state of unrest.

The last time President Yameen met with the police was following the explosion on board the Presidential Launch.
