Two people have been injured in two separate knife attacks in Malé City.
Police Media Official told Sun Media that the first attack took place around 8:35 p.m. tonight near the Vilimalé ferry terminal. And the second attack took place near Alcyon Bakery around 9 p.m.
The two people injured in the attacks are being treated at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
Gang violence have resumed after being subsided for a time in the capital city.
Three minors have been injured in various attacks this July alone.Police have not revealed whether any arrests have been made.
A statement issued by the Maldives Police Service today said that gang violence and organized crime have increased recently.
