Sun Siyam Iru Fushi wins Indian Ocean’s Leading Family Resort Award

The Sun Siyam Iru Fushi has won Indian Ocean Region’s Leading Family Resort Award at the Indian Ocean Gala of World Travel Awards held at Sun Aqua Vilu Reef last Saturday night.

The Sun Siyam Iru Fushi won both Indian Ocean’s Leading Family Resort Award and Leading Maldivian Resort Award.

It was the first time for the resort to win the two awards.

Host of the event, Sun Aqua Vilu Reef won Indian Ocean’s Leading Water Villa Award.

Leading Indian Ocean destinations Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Madagascar and Reunion Islands competed for the awards. However, the nominations and the awards were led by Maldives.

Maldives won 24 out of the 45 regional awards.
