Adeeb’s lawyers summoned by police

Former Vice President Ahmed Adeeb Abdul Gafoor’s lawyers Moosa Siraj and Mahfooz Saeed have been summoned by the police.

They have been asked to attend police headquarters at 2 pm, this Wednesday.

“Sun” has been informed that the Moosa Siraj and Mahfooz Saeed were summoned by police in light of a letter sent by the lawyers alleging a plot to kill Adeeb.

The lawyers, in their letter, said they had information of a plot to kill Adeeb inside his prison cell in Dhoonidhoo.

They requested the threat be investigated as a special priority case, and for tighter security measures to be put in place.
