Man arrested in Kaadehdhoo for smuggling a kilo of drugs

A man has been arrested after smuggling a kilo of drugs by air to Gaafu Dhaalu Kaadehdhoo.

Maldives Police Service said that the 21-year-old smuggler was arrested around 12:56 a.m. last night.

The type of drugs confiscated are unclear at this time.

Gaafudhaalu Thinadhoo Magistrate Court remanded the man by 15 days to investigate further.
