Sun Siyam Irufushi Tourism Film Festival postponed to next year

The second International Tourism Film Festival being organized by Sun Siyam Irufushi resort has been postponed for next year.

After a successful first film festival by the resort last year, a second film festival was announced for November 2017.

Sun Siyam Resorts said that the film festival for this year was postponed for next year upon the request of a number of applicants for the festival. The second film festival is now set for 18-20 April 2018.

The deadline to submit movies for festival opened for artists around the globe closes on 15 December 2017. After all entries have been viewed, winners will be announced in February 2018 according to Sun Siyam Resorts.

The first International Tourism Film Festival inaugurated by the Chairman of the Sun Siyam Group, Ahmed Siyam Mohamed received over 200 entries from 20 countries.

Grand Prize of the festival was won last year by a Turkish Director. And most awards were won by Russia.
