Maldivian dies in traffic collision in India

A Maldivian woman has died in a traffic collision that took place in India tonight.

Sources say that the Maldivian woman involved in the collision is 24-year-old Aishath Raiha from Raa atoll Maduvvari.

Consul at the Maldivian Consulate in India, Ali Adam told Sun Media that they have received reports of a traffic collision involving a vehicle with Maldivians on board and the passing of a Maldivian woman involved in the collision.

The Consul said that the collision took place at an area about 4 fours outside Trivandrum but the exact location of the collision is unclear at this time.

Other Maldivians travelling on the vehicle also sustained some injuries in the collision.
