Minor attacked and injured in Addu City

A minor has been injured in an attack that took place tonight in Hidhathoo, Addu City.

Talking to Sun Media, the police media official said that the attack was reported to the Addu Police Station around 10:23 p.m. tonight.

The official said that a 15-year-old boy is being treated at the Hithadhoo Regional Hospital following the attack. The extent of his injuries are unclear at this time.

Police did not say if any arrests have been made following the attack.
