Hulhule’ ferry ticket rate to be increased by MVR 1

Airports Ferry Operators Association (AFOA) has announced the decision to increase the rate for ferry tickets between Male’ City and Hulhule’ by MVR 1.

The island of Hulhule’ houses the national airport – Velana International Airport.

The change in the rate means that the ticket – which is now sold for MVR 10 – will be sold for MVR 11.

AFOA announced the change was due to implementation of Goods and Service Tax on airport ferry service starting May 10.
