Burst pipe disrupts water services in Galolhu

A burst Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) pipe has resulted in disruptions in water supply to some houses in the Galolhu district of Male’ City.

The MWSC pipe burst at the cross-roads between Ameenee Magu and Koimalaa Hingun at approximately 11:30 am this Sunday.

MWSC has provided confirmation it is dealing with a burst water pipe in the Galolhu district.

The burst pipe reportedly resulted as a hole was being dug up on the road.

An official from MWSC provided assurance water services will be restored to normal within two hours.
