Public Service Media (PSM) has filed a lawsuit against private television channel SanguTV, claiming the channel failed to pay satellite fees to PSM.
The case is currently in the dispute resolution stage.
A hearing in the case was scheduled at Civil Court for 2:10 pm, this Thursday, but “Sun” has so far been unable to obtain any details.
SanguTV reportedly owes PSM approximately MVR 900,000 in unpaid satellite fees.
PSM had withdrawn its original lawsuit against SanguTV over the unpaid satellite fees for unknown reasons, but then refiled the lawsuit again this year.
