Maldivian police have visit the Islami Bank Medical College in Rajshahi, Bangladesh, where the Maldivian student, Raudha Athif died last week.
Two officers of the Maldives Police Service, Chief Superintendent, Mohamed Riya and Chief Inspector, Ahmed Ali are currently in Bangladesh to look into the death of Raudha Athif who was found hanged in her dorm room.
The Assistant Commissioner of Police of the Detective Branch at the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police, Alamin Hussain told Sun MEdia today that the Rajhshahi police visited the Islami Bank Medical College this afternoon with the two officers of the Maldivian Police Service.
ACP Alamin Hussain said that while the Detective Branch is investigating Raudha’s death, the Maldivian police were given information regarding the case.
He said that the visit to the college today, they talked to students, Raudha’s friends and staff along with other Maldivian students at the college.
The family of the victim suspects the closest to the victim at the college is Seerath Parveen from Kashmeer. Parveen’s phone has been confiscated by the Rajshahi police and are researching the content upon the request from the family.
