Civil Service Commission (CSC) has ended the paid leave they gave to their pregnant employees regarding the H1N1 influenza outbreak in the Maldives.
A circular issued by the CSC today said that they have ended the paid leave for the pregnant employees and they have to return to work on Sunday.
With pregnant women being in the category for most serious cases in the influenza, CSC gave all of their pregnant employees a paid leave on 16 March 2017.
Government institutes and some private offices gave a leave to pregnant employees due to the influenza outbreak.
