Education Ministry has said that they had not yet made a decision on reopening schools next week.
While schools were closed a week ago on 14 March, Tuesday, due to the rapidly spreading H1N1 influenza, this week is the mid-term holidays at the schools.
Media Official of the Health Protection Agency (HPA) told Sun Media today that the status of the influenza has been shared with the Education Ministry and a decision would be made by the Education Ministry.
The Media Official of the Education Ministry said that no decision has been made as of yet.
Sources say that the Ministry is working to made a decision and announce today.
In an effort to control the influenza, Health Ministry advises against mass gatherings and stay at home. While there have been three fatalities, several people are hospitalized in treatment.
