STELCO arranges teachers for Care Society for one year

State Electric Company (STELCO) has arranged the teachers needed by Care Society for one year.

The agreement for the arrangement was signed today at a special ceremony held at STELCO. Managing Director of STELCO, Abdul Shukoor Sohil and the Executive Director of Care Society, Naushan Muhaimin signed the agreement on behalf of their perspective parties.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Managing Director of STELCO said that they have arranged employment in different fields for people with disabilities and would continue the support in employment and recreation.

A member of the Board of Care Society, Ahmed Sahid also spoke at the ceremony saying that the teachers assigned by STELCO ensures that children with disabilities would receive the education they need.

Sahid noted that everyone needs to be involved in such community services and that private businesses and heads of state institutes are capable of providing such support.

At the event, Care Society presented a special gift to STELCO.

STELCO has recently conducted a program and employed 27 people with disabilities.
