Boat carrying water to Aarah overturns

A boat carrying water from R. Maduvvari to the island of Aarah – being developed as a resort – has overturned, midway into the journey.

The 50-foot boat from Maduvvari had three people on board when the incident took place this Monday morning.

All three individuals are reported to be in safe condition.

“Sun” has been informed that the boat is now completely submerged under water.

A man from Maduvvari who spoke to “Sun” said boats with divers were now travelling to the site of the incident.
