Siyam: Without discipline, there’s no use for education and talent

Leader of the Maldives Development Alliance (MDA) and the Chairman of the Sun Siyam Group, Ahmed Siyam Mohamed has said that even if a person has the highest level of education and talent, if that person lack a good discipline, that person cannot use the education and talents.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Millennium Youth Leader’s Camp hosted by Regional Alliance for Fostering Youth (RAFY) in association with Sun Siyam Group, Siyam said that leaders always have to be thinking, and it is the leaders that have the future of the country.

He said that if the national leader is a good one, the people of the country would progress greatly and developments would come to the country.

Siyam said that maintaining a good discipline is important for a leader and no matter how much a person gains education and acquire talents, without a good discipline, that person cannot make a good use of it.

The Chairman of the Sun Siyam Group said that the biggest resource of a country is the people and so the youth today have to become those that are beneficial to the people.

And that every individual must believe that they are a capable person and they must not believe otherwise. He said that the poorest image of a human is lacking confidence and so we must think positively and that nothing is beyond reach if one works hard.

The Millennium Youth Leader’s Camp was held from 9-11 February 2017 with 30 participants.
