Three young men were left injured in a series of gang attacks which took place in R. Maduvvari on Sunday night.
“Sun” has been informed the violence erupted between two gangs in a dispute involving narcotics.
Police reported that the a 22-year-old was left injured in the first episode of violence, a 24-year-old man was beaten in the second episode of violence, and a 34-year-old man was stabbed on his back with a rod in the third episode.
All three men were taken to Maduvvari Health Center for treatment.
Mohamed Samiu – who is in charge of running the health center – reported to “Sun” that the 22-year-old had a cut on his forehead, the 24-year-old has bruises of the back of his head, and the 34-year-old had a deep stab wound of his back.
Police reported seven men between the ages of 20 to 32 years have been arrested in connection with the attacks.
One of the men was arrested while hiding in an uninhabited island.
The case is under investigation by police.
