Addu Mayor, former Deputy Mayor charged with corruption

Mayor of Addu City, Abdulla Sodiq (Soabe) and former Deputy Mayor of Addu City, Hassan Shahid have been charged with corruption.

Soabe and Shahid have been sent notice by Hithadhoo Magistrate Court, which reads that the case against them was filed by the State on December 15, 2016.

The first hearing is scheduled for 2:15 pm, this Monday.
