Foreigner gets trampled to death under truck in Maamingili

A 27-year-old Indian man got trampled to death under a truck in the Villa site in A. Dh. Maamingili on February 1.

The man died trampled as the driver of the hydraulic truck lowered the back of the truck as cargo was being loaded into it.

Police reports the man was dead when taken to Maamingili Health Center.

The body of the man has been transported to India.

The driver of the truck has been arrested and remanded to 15 days in police custody.

Police have not released the identity of the driver.
