Skill Training Center has launched this year’s first “Pearl” program – aimed at educating children with disabilities.
“Pearl” program is an initiative by Skill Training Center to educate children with disabilities, and is offered free of charge.
10 children are given spots each month to participate in the program.
Founder of Skill Training Center, Dhimna Fakir reported two children with cerebral palsy, two children with down syndrome, and six children with autism have been given spots in the first batch of “Pearl” program this year.
The children’s motor skills and creativity was harnessed during the first day of class through fun activities.
Dhimna reports the center receives support from trainers, SEN teachers and volunteers.
Skills Training Center runs a variety of programs for children.
It offers a special “holiday package” during school holidays, and runs a variety of programs for children with disabilities and children admitted to hospital.
