BML issues warning over bogus emails to customers

Bank of Maldives (BML) has issued a warning over bogus emails impersonating the bank which are being sent to its internet banking customers.

BML wrote on its official Twitter account this Thursday that some of its customers had been receiving emails impersonating the bank, asking them to update account details via a form.

The bank said it would never ask customers to share any account or internet login details via email, and advised its customers to discard such emails.
