Customs confiscate spearguns smuggled into Maldives

Maldives Customs has confiscated a shipment of spearguns smuggled into Maldives.

Customs confiscated the shipment of 21 spearguns in a special operation from a ship which arrived in Maldives on December 31, 2016.

Customs reported the spearguns were imported from a Maldivian business through a Dubai company.

The spearguns were discovered during cargo clearance.
