Technical issue disrupts call services

A technical issue resulted in a one-hour disruption to call services between Ooredoo and Dhiraagu customers this Sunday morning.

The disruption started at approximately 9:30 am this Sunday, with Dhiraagu customers unable to call Ooredoo numbers and Ooredoo customers unable to call Dhiraagu numbers, or with calls being cut off mid conversation.

Both Dhiraagu and Ooredoo reported to “Sun” that the issue has now been resolved.

“The issue was resolved shortly after manifestation,” said an official from Dhiraagu.

Customers have also been riddled with internet connectivity issues due to DDoS attacks.
