Masked men rob MVR 600,000

Masked men on a motorcycle has robbed over MVR 600,000 which was being taken to the Head Office of Rainbow Enterprises.

Police Media Official told Sun Media that the report of the robbery was reported yesterday morning around 10 a.m. and the robbery took place while the money was being moved on a motorcycle.

The official said that they robbers took MVR 600,000 and the investigation is underway but no arrests have been made.

An informed source told Sun Media that the money being taken to the head office was from Rainbow Mall on Chaandhannee Magu and the robbery occurred at the corner of Lily Magu and Daisy Magu by two masked men who came on a motorcycle.
