Uzbekistan Airlines arrive in Maldives

A flight of the national airline of Uzbekistan has arrived in the Maldives.

A Boeing 757 of the Uzbekistan Airlines landed at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA) this afternoon as part of the chartered flights being operated by Inner Maldives Holidays, Intour Maldives and Uzbekistan Airways.

Director of Inner Maldives Holidays, Ahmed Ijaaz told Sun Media that it was a full flight. The Boeing 757 is a 215-seat aircraft.

The Uzbekistan Airlines flight left INIA today with passengers on a special tour package to the country by Inner Maldives.

The travel agency said that they would increase the number of chartered flights depending on the number of tourists from Uzbekistan who wants to visit the Maldives.
