Fire at Sosun Flower controlled

The fire at the sixth floor of the residential house in Malé City, Sosun Flower in Henveiru has been controlled with about half an hour of work.

Fire and Rescue Service of the MNDF said that no one was injured in the fire. But the house sustained some fire damage where a number of woods on the top floor, the scene of fire, were burnt.

The sixth floor where the fire started is a vacant floor and is made as deck to the floor below. Journalists of Sun Media at the scene say that the building was cracked in the fire.

National Disaster Management Center said that they would be providing assistance to those in need following the fire.
