14 foreigners arrested for gambling

Maldives Police Service has arrested 14 foreigners from a residential house in Malé City in suspicion of gambling.

Police Media Official told Sun Media that 14 people were arrested from a separate room of a house in an ally in front of the BG Garage in a Police operation around 7:30 p.m. tonight.

The Media Official said that gambling tools and money were found at the location during the search with a court order.

No further details on the case were given by the Police.
