Dhiraagu donates oxygen concentrators to four hospitals

Dhiraagu has donated oxygen concentrators to four hospitals in four atolls across the country.

The telecom company said that donations were part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts to develop the country.

The oxygen concentrators to Alifu Alifu Atoll Hospital in Rasdhoo, Alifu Dhaalu Atoll Hospital in Mahibadhoo, Faafu Atoll Hospital in Nilandhoo and Dhaalu Atoll Hospital in Kudahuvadhoo.

Accepting the donation, the Manager of the Faafu Atoll Hospital, Ahmed Nazim said that the oxygen concentrators donated by Dhiraagu are very important to the hospital. And he expressed his gratitude to Dhiraagu for the donation and said that the hope is to receive assistance in the future.

The Manager of the Dhaalu Atoll Hospital, Ismail Shareef thanked the management of Dhiraagu as well for the donation.

Largest telecom provider in the country, Dhiraagu is providing total connectivity nation-wide with nine regional operation centers creating jobs. The company already has 99 percent local employees.

Dhiraagu said that they are working to support the development projects across the country and would continue to provide help to all atolls in the future.

The company’s CRS has conducted multiple events providing aid across the country this year including the donation of resources to develop Special Education Needs Classes in Laamu and Baa atolls.

And while the Dhiraagu CSR is set to provide assistance to the Special Education Needs Class in Fuvahmulah City, they also privded assistance to the Disability Award this year.
