ADK reviews its policy on medical reports for migrant workers

ADK Hospital has put its policy on issuance of medical reports to migrant workers for their visas under review, in light of Maldives Immigration’s investigation into falsified medical reports by some medical facilities.

Immigration imposed a ban on medical reports for migrant workers from ADK Hospital and AMDC on December 5, which has since been lifted.

Managing Director of ADK Hospital, Ahmed Affaal reported that its policy on medical reports for migrant workers was under review, and that the service will not be available until January 2, after revisal.

Affaal did not disclose the revisions that will be made.

Foreigners living or working in Maldives are required to submit medical reports to Immigration on a yearly basis.
