A. Dh. Huruelhi added to list of islands for lease without bidding

The uninhabited island A. Dh. Huruelhi has been added to the list of islands and lagoons up for lease to run tourist businesses without bidding.

Huruelhi lies approximately 10 kilometers to the west of A. Dh. Fenfushi.

Ministry of Tourism issued a statement last Thursday to report that Huruelhi had been added to the list – which includes names and details of islands and lagoons available for lease without bidding for the year.

The estimated acquisition cost of the 6.3 hector island of Huruelhi is listed as USD 3.65 million.
