Police have arrested two suspects, including a minor after two Bangladeshi expatriate workers were stabbed in A. Dh. Dhangethi during the early hours of Saturday morning.
The stabbing was reported to police at 5:30 am.
Police reported that two males have been arrested in connection with the case; a 27-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy - both Maldivian.
The victims; a 30-year-old man and a 50-year-old man are being treated at Dhangethi Regional Hospital.
The hospital reported the 30-year-old man had stab wounds on his cheeks and shoulders, while the 50-year-old man had stab wounds on his head and hands.
Both are in stable condition.
