Two Bangladeshi expatriates have been reported injured after a stabbing in A. Dh. Dhangethi.
Police has confirmed the reports, disclosing that the incident took place in Dhangethi during the early morning hours of this Saturday.
Police media official who spoke to “Sun” said the incident was reported to police at 5:30 am.
Police have not divulged any details regarding the extent of the injuries suffered by the two Bangladeshi expatriates as the case is under investigation.
Aishath Hussein – in charge of running Dhangethi Health Center – said that the two Bangladeshi men – aged 30 years and 50 years – were being treated at the health center.
The 30-year-old man had stab wounds on his cheeks and shoulders, while the 50-year-old man had stab wounds on his head and hands.
Aishath Hussein reported that the condition of the two men was now stable.
