Nishan appointed Chairperson of MTDC

Board member of Maldives Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) – Ali Nishan has been appointed Chairman of the corporation.

Nishan was appointed to the post after Ibthisham Ahmed Saeed – who had been serving as Chairperson of MTDC since 2014 – was removed from the post by Privatization and Corporation Board on November 7.

MTDC announced this week that Nishan had been appointed Chairman of MTDC on November 20.

He was appointed a member of its Board of Directors in August, 2015.

Nishan previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of Felivaru Fisheries Limited.
