Warehouse destroyed in fire is insured, belongs to Brotherhood

Brotherhood Group has reported that the warehouse - in Kafidhoo of Mahchangolhi district of Male’ City - which burned to the ground in a fire this Monday afternoon belonged to the company, and that the warehouse was insured.

The four-story warehouse burned to the ground in the fire.

Managing Director of Brotherhood Group Private Limited, Azim reported to “Sun” that the warehouse was insured.

Azim said the warehouse was used to store electronics and cosmetics on all four floor of the building.

He said that it was too soon to provide an accurate estimate the extent of the loss.

He also said that the company did not yet know if any of its employees had been inside the building when it burned down.

Firefighters have managed to control the fire from causing any further damage to nearby buildings. But the building where the warehouse was situated has burned to the ground.
