Woman injured after attack by son in Thinadhoo

A woman has been injured in G. Dh. Thinadhoo after being physically attacked by her son.

A local who spoke to “Sun” said the incident took place a short while ago, this Saturday morning.

The source reported the 34-year-old man had grabbed his mother by the throat and pushed her towards the wall.

She is bleeding from the head.

The source reported the man had also stabbed a sibling who tried to intercede.

Police reported the 34-year-old man has been arrested, and the mother and the individual injured trying to intercede have both been treated at the hospital.
