15 officers to Turkey to increase investigative skills

Maldives Police Service has sent 15 officers to Turkey to take park in a training program on investigation proficiency.

The five-day training program stated today being held at the Turkish National Police Academy is part of the effort from the Maldives Police and the Turkish Police Academy to provide education and training opportunities to Maldivian Police officers.

Officers would be taught the necessary skills to successfully complete Police investigations with speed and professionalism at the training program entitled "Investigation Process".

Police said that they have officers from Marine Investigation, Road Accident Investigation and Criminal Z investigation departments taking part in the training program.

As part of the effort to provide training programs for the Maldivian Police Officers by the Turkish National Police Academy and the Institute for Security and Law Enforcement Studies, annual training programs are provided for the Maldivian Police.
