Kudafushi Resort to open in December with 107 villas

Kudafushi Resort and Spa, which is being developed R. Atoll, is scheduled to open in December, 2016.

The resort will house 107 villas; 40 beach villas, 32 beach pool villas, 34 water pool villas, and a presidential suite.

The resort will also house a water sports and diving center, and a modern restaurant.

Kudafushi lays near the two uninhabited islands in R. Atoll – Bodufushi and Dhoragali.

The management of the resort is now working on hiring staff it needs in time for the opening in December.

Resorts scheduled to open in Maldives before the end of 2016 include Huravalhi Maldives, Soneva Jani and Milandhoo Resort.

More than one million tourists have visited Maldives so far this year.
